Kitchen rudder

I hope that forum members find this interesting it is the rudder for my new steam launch.
It allows full ahead and astern without changing the speed of the engine.

This is a very interesting device, and yours works fine.  
I must say that I started one , but due to wrong measurements, it remains on a shelf in my workshop. 
Looking at yours , may be a good oportunity to grab it again!
