hello guys!
Althought this forum is a French speaking forum, we will be really glad to hear news and comments from you. We must keep in mind that model boats is an international activity. Therefore all contributions are welcome; In this field no frontier is to overcome!
I am one member of this forum, and particulatly interested in sternwheelers, mainly after reading Mark Twain " Down the Mississipi".
I am presently trying do made the reconstitution of sternwheelers from this period, mainly in Brazil between the 19 th sixties and early twenties, knowing that in these earlier times, Brazil imported US discarted sternwheelers. After some disasters in the Amazon river, the Brazilians discovered that the Rio São Francisco is their Mississipi,. It crosses four states from Cascata d ´Anta falls , to the sea after 1600 miles.
