Can you tell us more about thes self pressurizing Aster burner that you are showing! I can see a kind of alcool (?) pilot ligth beneath the outlet of the burner , but the heat below must be really dangerous!!!!!! What kind of pressure this tank can hold?? Even if the flamme is out, the heat must be strong, isn't it???!

the burner is for Alcohol, the small flame is lit to warm the tank and raise the pressure, when it is about 1 bar open the valve and light the flame. The Aster burner is difficult, but the similar Saito burners are easy.
I like this burner a lot, the sound is very nice - crisp like a miniature rocket, and the heat is good.
I had a small accident at a show one time:

Impressionant, cette flamme bleue sous pression! Et stable en plus! Bien qu'en bout de chaudière, elle semble produire beaucoup d'énergie dans ce long corps de chauffe.
Je constate aussi que tu as refait le Aster et qu'il est de toute beauté. J'avais suivi le "rebuilding" sur Mayhem, il tourne bien et il est réussi.
De bien belles vidéos qui nous font plaisir.
